MAPS supports teachers and students who are working towards both vocational and general qualifications. MAPS includes dozens of qualification mark shemes from the major Awarding Bodies which can then be easily assigned by teachers to the relevant students, and then monitored by teachers throughout the duration of the course. Teachers are able to see at the click of a button what work each student has already completed for each qualification.
Furthermore, teachers are able to mark the work against the mark scheme, and using the new Red Pen Tool, can show precisely in the work where specific coursework criteria have been met. In any number of cases, marked coursework can be automatically submitted via MAPS to the Awarding Body - saving on costly printing, assembly and postal costs. In all other cases, MAPS allows all marked coursework to easily be archived onto CD which can then be submitted to the Awarding Body.
